  Notes	Dover Weekly Argus, Thursday, Oct. 19, 1882: A Chapter of Accidents ”...On the same day [Saturday last] Ed. Hill, a son of Isaac Hill of Goshen, got a load of shot through his foot while duck hunting at Chippewa Lake. The foot was badly lacerated and the young man suffered severely. Drs. Mcclean and J. M. Smith dressed the wounds, the young man deciding to risk an attack of lockjaw, rather than have the foot amputated.”
