  Notes	“On leaving Ohio, Mr. Hill removed to Sullivan county, Indiana, where he made his home for eleven years, and in March, 1863, came to Urbana, Illinois. He engaged in digging ditches, followed farming and was employed as a general laborer. He cast his first vote for General W.H. Harrison, the Whig candidate, and later affiliated with the Republican party.” [1]
