Rutkoski-Baehler
The engagement of Miss Helen Rutkoski of Berlin, Wisconsin, to Elmer Baehler of Sheboygan Falls, was announced recently. Mr. Baehler, who is employed at Kohler, was formerly of Medford, Wisconsin.

Kohler Archers Beat Sheboygan In Team Shoot
Sheboygan archers journeyed to Kohler last Thursday evening, where the two clubs matched skill in a competitive shoot at the Kohler Recreation hall, and members of the Kohler club walked off with the honors for the evening.
Kohler archers who took first second and third place were Elmer Baehler, 630; Frank Kraus, 537, and Romy Brotz, 505. The three high scorers for the Sheboygan club were Art Jensen, 537; August Grube, 462, and David Krause, 437.
In the Ladies’ division, Betty Ireland of the Kohler club copped first place with 352, and Sheboygan women who competed scored as follows: Jane Vollrath, 263; Ida Grube, 249, and Virginia Ford, 208.

Obituaries
Elmer A. Baehler
Elmer A. Baehler, 72, of R. 3, Sheboygan Falls, died Saturday afternoon shortly after being admitted to St. Nicholas Hospital.
Mr. Baehler a former Kohler Co. employe for 39 years, was also a mink rancher for many years.
A native of Medford, he was born May 4, 1903, a son of the late Gottfried and Ann Wyss Baehler. He moved to the Sheboygan Falls area about 1926.
His marriage to Helen Rutkowski took place at Berlin, Wis., Aug. 27, 1928.
He was a member of the Kettle Moraine Mink Breeders Association and Kohler Quarter-Century Club.
Survivors are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Arnold (Joyce) Meyer of R. 3, Falls; a son, Richard of Marcellone, Mich.; three grandchildren; four brothers, Arthur, Walter and Herman of Great Falls, Mont., and William of Milwaukee, and two sisters, Mrs. Hilda Hess of Willard, Wis., and Mrs. Harold Clemans of Medford.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Huehns Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls, with the Rev. Donald Peters officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today and until the time of services Tuesday.
